Quality shining through!

Blog update

The new Promega HQ on the University of Southampton Science Park has been a unique building since day one. As the project edges towards completion that was very clear to see for the Blogging Team on their recent visit.

In the Storage Wing the powerfloat floor slab has now been ground and polished before a finishing sealer will be applied. The walls have been plastered throughout and the M&E is at an advanced stage.

In the Office Building the steamed beach hardwood window surrounds look absolutely stunning. The brick slips to the surrounds will be added shortly. Tiling is now underway on the floors and walls and, like all aspects of the build, they are both functional and very tasteful.

Outside the arched drystone wall for the yoga garden is almost complete and makes an unusual and attractive feature. It certainly looks like the Promega HQ building is going to be as special a place to work for their staff as it is for us at Amiri to build!
