Air Handling Unit Movement - RBH

Every project has significant milestones and the new state of the art Pathology Unit at Royal Bournemouth Hospital has some big ones! Perhaps the stand out was the timing of the installation of the “beating heart” of the scheme – filling the rooftop plant room with all the equipment that will control the heating, ventilation and fume extraction in this incredibly complex building. The delivery date for the plant was set in January and we’re proud to say that despite a few challenges and delays, in common with every project, working collaboratively with our supply chain partners, design team and hospital stakeholders we always found ways to overcome the issues and ensure that the plant room was ready for the UK designed and manufactured units on the day that was originally scheduled.
