Amiri win £1.2 million project at Corfe Hills School
Amiri Special Works, a division of Amiri Construction, are starting on the £1.2 million heating replacement works at Corfe Hills School, Broadstone.
The project is located within the existing secondary school and consists of heating replacement works to the ground and ﬁrst ﬂoor of the Main Building encompassing more than three quarters of the teaching spaces and common areas as well as complete replacement of the school’s boiler plant.
The funding for the project was secured via the Education & Skills Funding Agency’s Condition Improvement Fund and will be undertaken in eight phases to ensure minimum disruption to the day to day running of the school. Completion is due during October 2019.

Similar works include the £860,000 complete heating upgrade for The Romsey School, Romsey which was completed in 32 weeks - 20 weeks ahead of the original tender programme, and the £1.9 million heating system upgrade, roof replacement and lift installation contract for Trafalgar School, Hampshire in a live environment during a section 5 OFTSED inspection.
