Amiri awarded contract for new later living development in Lymington.

Amiri Construction have secured the design and build of an £11 million, 44 home independent later living development on Stanford Hill in Lymington, Hampshire. The community, which is being created for later living housing specialist, Lifestory Group, will become a collection of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments set within a 3-storey building. The development will also benefit from 34 parking spaces, mobility scooter store, communal lounge and guest suite.

The project is due to be completed in the Autumn 2023 and is being developed to be marketed under Lifestory Group's award-winning Pegasus brand.

Martin Tidby, Managing Director says “We are very pleased to be working alongside Lifestory on their latest project. Having vast experience in the multi-occupancy residential sector and having delivered similar communities before, we look forward to using that knowledge and delivering an exceptional Amiri project experience”.

Laura Hadley, Lifestory Group's Senior Development Manager, who is leading the project said "It's great to be working alongside a local contractor with such strong experience of building residential schemes in this area. It's fair to say that the team has hit the ground running and we have made a good start on site."

Working with Amiri and Lifestory are Totton based Snug Architects; Winchester based Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors, Ridge; ABS are providing the M&E Design and Bishops Waltham based Structural Engineer, Arch Associates are providing the Structural design.
