With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Dan leads Amiri Homes’ construction operations with a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise.
His career began at a young age as a hod carrier for a brickwork company, progressing naturally into bricklaying, stonework and heritage projects. From there, Dan steadily advanced through the ranks – from Assistant Site Manager to Site Manager, then Projects Manager and Contracts Manager within a regional contractor – before taking on his current role as Head of Construction at Amiri Homes.
Dan is recognised for his proven ability to manage complex, high-level schemes with confidence and precision. His proactive approach to programme delivery, paired with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication, ensures that every project under his leadership is executed to the highest standards.
As part of his role, Dan supports his site teams across all matters relating to safety, quality, programme and commercial performance. His regular site visits create open opportunities for teams to raise concerns, enabling him to provide guidance and solutions that reduce or eliminate potential issues.
Dan shares the Amiri Homes vision: creating high-quality homes that communities can be proud of, whether through social housing or market-sale developments.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending quality time with his children, often taking them around Southsea and to the arcades.
