Project Overview

Amiri successfully delivered the design and construction of Pegasus Lymington Gate, a prestigious later-living development.

The £11 million scheme provides 44 luxury later-living apartments across four storeys, complemented by communal spaces, landscaped areas and secure on-site parking for 34 vehicles.

Built using traditional masonry construction with piled foundations, the development was carefully designed to reflect Lymington’s architectural character while meeting modern standards of comfort, accessibility, and sustainability. The building also features a dedicated storage area for mobility scooters, enhancing convenience and independence for residents.

Situated close to the seafront and within a vibrant town centre setting, Lymington Gate offers premium accommodation for retirees, combining high-quality living with proximity to local amenities.

Key Challenges & Solutions

Challenging Sloping Site: The site’s steep gradient and proximity to the seafront presented significant structural and logistical challenges.

Piled foundations and a detailed site management plan were implemented to ensure stability and efficient sequencing of works, maintaining progress while safeguarding quality.

Tight Town Centre Location: Limited access and close proximity to neighbouring properties required careful coordination of deliveries and construction activity.

A just-in-time delivery strategy and ongoing liaison with local stakeholders ensured minimal disruption to the surrounding community.
