Amiri delivered Phase 1 of the Norquay Business Park development in Southampton, constructing a Starbucks drive-through unit.
Amiri has successfully delivered Phase 1 of a new drive-through unit at Norquay Business Park in Southampton, marking a significant milestone in the regeneration of a former brownfield site.
Strategically located on Wide Lane, adjacent to the M27, the pre-let Starbucks drive-through establishes a strong commercial presence and serves as a catalyst for future phases of development.
The £1.4 million scheme comprises a steel-framed structure supported by a lightweight metal system. Externally, the building features a high-quality palette of timber and stone cladding, complemented by a glazed façade and a shopfront entrance, designed to facilitate future internal fit-out requirements.
Project Outcomes
The successful completion of Phase 1 has established a strong foundation for the ongoing development of Norquay Business Park, transforming a previously underutilised brownfield site into a vibrant commercial area. The drive-through unit, anchored by Starbucks, provides an immediate amenity offering while attracting further occupiers to the scheme.
Delivered efficiently and to a high standard despite site constraints, the project has contributed to the creation of new employment opportunities and enhanced the local area’s commercial appeal. The development represents an important step in the wider regeneration strategy, supporting long-term economic growth and investment in Southampton.
