Project Overview
A comprehensive refit of Linde UK’s Head Office, undertaken within a fully operational building.
The works included the refurbishment of office and meeting spaces, upgrades to key building systems, and the modernisation of shared areas to create a high-quality, contemporary workspace aligned with Linde’s corporate identity.
The project was carried out over a 20-week programme, requiring careful phasing and precise coordination to minimise disruption to day-to-day business operations. With the building occupied throughout, safety, communication and stakeholder engagement were central to the project’s success.

Key Challenges & Solutions
Occupied Building Environment: The building remained fully operational throughout the works, requiring meticulous planning to ensure business continuity.
A phased programme and close daily coordination with the client team ensured uninterrupted access and minimal noise disruption to staff.
Fire Escape and Access Management: Fire routes and main circulation paths ran directly through the construction zone.
Amiri proactively managed fire escape routes, introduced clear wayfinding signage, and implemented a strict traffic management system for staff and visitors.
Ongoing Stakeholder Communication: With high visibility across the site and evolving requirements, maintaining client confidence and clarity on progress was key.
Regular engagement meetings and responsive change management ensured all variations were accommodated efficiently and transparently.
We would have no doubt in using Amiri again for any future building works on any of our sites across the UK.
