The blog team made their first site visit to Infinity Labs at the University of Southampton Science Park!
Work is progressing, with the CMC piling rig now fully operational. CMC (Controlled Modulus Columns) is a specialist ground improvement technique using grout-filled columns to evenly distribute the building’s structural load.
Elsewhere on site, attenuation tanks have been installed, and progress is being made on the site-wide drainage systems.
