We attended the official opening of the new Sussex & Surrey Institute of Technology (SSIoT) at Crawley College.

The opening event featured a welcome and official opening by Peter Lamb MP, followed by guided tours of the new SSIoT facilities. Guests explored specialist partner showcase rooms with live demonstrations in engineering, construction and digital, and viewed student projects throughout the morning.

The building has been designed to support the future of engineering, construction and digital technologies across Sussex and Surrey. As a construction company, we are proud to contribute to the development of learning environments that equip the next generation of construction professionals with the skills they need.

The new SSIoT building includes purpose-built learning factories that mirror real workplaces. These facilities will help develop technical skills, support the Government’s Technology Strategy, and advance net-zero construction and digital innovation across the region.
