It’s all about teamwork at COBH

Blog update

The latest Blogging visit to our Countess of Brecknock Hospice site certainly saw great progress.

Externally the cladding on the lower levels is now complete. The glazing is also at an advanced stage and the extensive curtain walling is due to be delivered shortly.

Internally the complicated plant room is well underway. Work on the suspended ceilings is ongoing and the plastering is in progress throughout. As with all hospitals a huge amount of complex medical equipment is needed and the M&E work continues in all areas.

The Blogging Team were delighted to meet Hospice Matron Sarah McGaughe again. She explained to Ben and Chris how pleased all the staff and patients were with the progress to date. Sarah commented:

“Being able to watch the building grow in front of our eyes has been very exciting. Having the Project Managers onsite has enabled us to discuss developments in real time to make sure both Amiri and COBH get the best outcome for our future patients. Our flexible working relationship with Amiri has also enabled us to visit the site with important guests and helped us to raise our profile, benefitting our fundraising drive.”
