Martin Tidby

Group Managing Director

 

Martin Tidby qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 having trained at a local practice in Southampton before moving to a corporate finance role at a larger practice.

 

Martin’s first move to the business world was into the Construction Industry with a Regional Contractor based in Portsmouth.  Four years on he joined another Contractor as Finance Director and met many of the people who are today his colleagues at Amiri.

 

After almost ten years in Construction, Martin moved into the finance sector becoming Finance Director at an asset finance business which was a subsidiary of the largest independent global advisory group in the world.

 

When the opportunity came late in 2016 to re-join the Construction Industry with former colleagues at Amiri it was simply too good to refuse.  After a spell as Operations Director, and Construction Managing Director, Martin is now Group Managing Director.

 

Martin is a keen cricket, darts and snooker fan who keeps himself fit with the help of completing numerous charity cycling events over the last few years.
